Hello lovely website visitors! Thanks for dropping by. Perhaps you heard that I have really cute pictures of my seven-pound Havanese puppy named Mabel on here? While you’re scanning for Mabel pics, I’d be delighted if you’d learn a bit about me as well! I hail from upstate New York, the land of half-moon cookies, tomato pie, Utica Club beer, and many, many cows. At age 3, when I saw my local high school's production of Bye Bye Birdie, I declared I would have a career in musical theater - and I never rescinded that toddler-aged declaration.

“Summer-stocking” in Mill Hall, PA as Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun, I met the incomparable talent and friend, Joe Kinosian, who later introduced me to my incomparable now-husband, Kellen Blair. Kellen, a brilliant and hilarious writer of musical theater, inspired me to take up the pen myself. I am now an advanced member of the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop as a lyricist. I love sharing my time between writing (highlights so far include a workshop production of my musical The Brontës and a commission from Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera), performing (fave roles include Mary in Little Mary Sunshine, Cindy Brady in The Bardy Bunch in Concert, and Joanna in Sweeney Todd), teaching piano lessons to NYC youth, and spending QT with my huz and pup. In addition to someday writing for and performing on the Great White Way, I imagine someday rising to commercial fame à la Prudential’s “Flo,” breeding Havanese puppies, and owning many shares of Dunkin Donuts (right now I’m at five and counting!).

Thanks again for checking out my site! Keep clicking! There’s more Mabel to be found…
